A Bisexual Romantic Horror Comedy
Synopsis:
One fateful evening, Tara, her best friend Gary, and his go-go dancing boyfriend Billi, discover a mysterious VHS tape that harbors a dark secret. Little do they know, they are about to enter a world of supernatural assassins, demon-fighting nuns, and an eternally young, possibly evil, but definitely gay Hollywood celebrity… who will cast a seductive spell over Tara. Rachel Kerry is a theatre/film director, writer, and multimedia designer interested in innovative, transmedia storytelling. Career highlights include staging a large-scale Times Square flash mob for Guy Laliberte’s Moving Stars and Earth for Water International Telecast, writing/directing the horror-comedy The Flowers of Fantastico (FringeNYC 2011), and directing Alexis Roblan's critically acclaimed play, Daughters of Lot (FRIGID 2012, Edinburgh Fringe 2012). She graduated Cum Laude from the University of Southern California with a BA in theatre and recognition as a Multimedia Literacy Scholar. She has also she studied at New York University’s Playwrights Horizon Theatre School and The National Institute of Dramatic Arts in Sydney, Australia. In 2010, Rachel founded (and continues to Mastermind) the theatre/media arts company Brain Melt Consortium.
