Its been far too long since I wrote, updated or recorded anything for my blog and for that I sincerely apologize. I am well aware that I live in an age where a week's absence, is the absolute lifespan of the attention or memory of a hefty slice of my audience.
So let me re-introduce myself, my name is humpty...just kidding...no seriously people I realized (after I made the video) that apparently there's already a SUPERWOMAN (she came after me...just saying), so - to avoid confusion and probably any trademark disputes - you my darlings can call me NubiaQ or NuQ. Whatever floats you're boat!

I make (well Tee handles the whole recording thingy) videos, which I add to my blog, OUT OF PARADISE. And its all about me and how I navigate the waters of life, living in a contradictory country that seems liberal at its surface but if you dare peel off that thinly veiled layer, Trinidad and Tobago (and 95% of the Caribbean) reveals its true conservative belly.
There are archaic criminal laws against homosexuality (Buggery), that were placed there in our Country's original constitution and not a single politician has ever given the LGBTQ movement the time of day, so the laws regarding buggery continue to be firmly embedded.
Even though there have been several lesbian, bisexual and gay members of parliament (on the down low), the many religious leaders continuously reticent condemnation about gay people and in my country there is no separation of church and state. They are practically one and the same.
So in my first video on my return is about politics, LGBTQ rights and empty vessels.
Till next week, Bless up!
